Nord-Ouest : Quand seront publiés les rapports concernant les dépenses liées aux subventions attribuées aux mairies ?

Des subventions de 500 000 gourdes ont été allouées à chaque municipalité du département, notamment celles du Nord-Ouest, en vue des célébrations de fin d’année 2024.
Cependant, des questions se posent quant à l’utilisation de ces fonds par les autorités locales, souvent accusées d’enrichissement personnel au détriment de la population. Les habitants du Nord-Ouest réclament une plus grande transparence concernant les dépenses associées à ces subventions, surtout au regard des abus qui ont pu être observés dans ce département trop souvent négligé.
Les mairies de Bassin Bleu, Saint Louis du Nord, La Tortue, Baie de Henne, Mole Saint Nicolas, Jean Rabel, Bombardopolis, Anse à Foleur, Chansolme et Port-de-Paix sont directement concernées par cette demande de publication des dépenses. Un résident, conscient de la situation, souligne que notre patience a des limites.
La question se pose : des détournements continuent-ils au sein de nos municipalités, notamment en raison du récent scandale des trente millions de gourdes, visiblement partagés entre des autorités peu scrupuleuses du Nord-Ouest ?
Il est grand temps que la corruption prenne fin et que les responsables soient tenus pour comptes de leurs actes !
