L’Ukraine a ouvert un «deuxième front» en Afrique, selon l’ambassadeur russe au Mali et au Niger

Incapable de progresser sur le champ de bataille en Ukraine, Kiev soutient les groupes armés en Afrique dans le but d’ouvrir un nouveau front, a déclaré aux médias l’ambassadeur de Russie au Mali et au Niger, Igor Gromyko.
L’Ukraine a ouvert un «deuxième front» en Afrique pour aider les formations armées illégales à lutter contre les gouvernements des pays amis de la Russie, a annoncé aux journalistes Igor Gromyko, ambassadeur de Russie au Mali et au Niger.
«Incapable de vaincre la Russie sur le champ de bataille, le régime criminel de Volodymyr Zelensky a décidé d’ouvrir un deuxième front en Afrique et de cautionner les groupes armés illégaux contre les pays du continent amis de Moscou», a-t-il souligné.
Le Mali a rompu les relations diplomatiques avec l’Ukraine en août et appelé les Africains à condamner les actions subversives de Kiev qui constituent une menace pour la stabilité du continent, a rappelé le diplomate.
Les mises en garde du Mali ont été entendues puisque l’ambassadeur ukrainien à Dakar a été convoqué et que le Niger a décidé aussi de rompre ses relations diplomatiques avec l’Ukraine, peu après Bamako, note le diplomate.
«Nous comprenons les motivations qui ont poussé les Maliens à mettre fin aux relations avec Kiev. La coopération [de l’Ukraine -ndlr] avec les terroristes n’est pas surprenante. Sur le territoire de notre pays, elle continue d’utiliser des méthodes interdites, commettant des actes de sabotage, des assassinats politiques, des bombardements réguliers d’infrastructures civiles» a ajouté l’ambassadeur.
Fin août, les autorités du Burkina Faso, du Mali et du Niger avaient adressé une lettre au président du Conseil de sécurité de l’ONU pour «condamner fermement le soutien ouvert du gouvernement ukrainien au terrorisme international, en particulier dans la région du Sahel».
