Europa League : les supporters israéliens tabassés à Amsterdam par des manifestants pro-Palestine

Des supporters du club de football israélien Maccabi Tel Aviv ont été violemment attaqués dans la ville néerlandaise d’Amsterdam par des voyous criant des slogans pro-Palestine. En réponse, Israël a déployé des avions pour aller rapatrier leurs ressortissants.
Des images diffusées en ligne montrent des hommes scandant « maintenant, vous savez ce que ça fait » tandis que des supporters de football israéliens étaient frappés et battus dans les rues. Les autorités néerlandaises ont déclaré plus tard que 10 Israéliens avaient été blessés et qu’elles tentaient de contacter deux individus.
Des centaines d’autres supporters israéliens ont reçu l’ordre de s’enfermer dans leurs chambres d’hôtel et de ne pas sortir. La police locale a déclaré que 57 personnes avaient été arrêtées après le match de jeudi soir alors qu’elles tentaient apparemment de se rendre au stade Johan Cruyff pour affronter les supporters israéliens.
Après avoir pris connaissance des incidents, Benjamin Netanyahu a ordonné l’envoi de deux « avions de sauvetage » pour évacuer les supporters du Maccabi Tel Aviv qui se trouvaient aux Pays-Bas pour voir leur équipe jouer contre son rival de l’AFC Ajax.
Dans un communiqué, le Premier ministre israélien a déclaré : « Le Premier ministre exige que le gouvernement néerlandais et les forces de sécurité néerlandaises agissent de manière décisive et rapide contre les émeutiers et garantissent la paix de nos citoyens. »
Le Premier ministre néerlandais Dick Schoof a déclaré avoir parlé à Netanyahu et lui avoir assuré que les auteurs seraient retrouvés et poursuivis. « J’ai suivi avec horreur les nouvelles d’Amsterdam », a posté Schoof sur X. « Des attaques antisémites totalement inacceptables contre les Israéliens. »
Dans une déclaration, l’ambassade d’Israël aux États-Unis a écrit sur X : « Des centaines de supporters de l’équipe de football MaccabiTLVFC ont été pris en embuscade et attaqués à Amsterdam ce soir alors qu’ils quittaient le stade après un match contre l’AFC Ajax. « La foule qui a pris pour cible ces Israéliens innocents a fièrement partagé ses actes de violence sur les réseaux sociaux. » Elle a exhorté les Israéliens qui ont besoin d’aide à appeler les numéros d’urgence pour obtenir de l’aide.
Des centaines de supporters du Maccabi s’étaient rassemblés plus tôt au Monument national de la ville, sur la place du Dam, où la police a procédé à plusieurs arrestations jeudi. Une vidéo partagée sur les réseaux sociaux avant le match montrait également des supporters du Maccabi criant « F— Palestine » et déchirant des drapeaux palestiniens.
Selon certaines informations, les chauffeurs de taxi locaux auraient réagi à la scène en complotant une vengeance contre les fans du Maccabi après le match. L’armée israélienne a confirmé qu’elle déployait une mission de sauvetage avec l’aide du gouvernement néerlandais après le match de football de la Ligue Europa, au cours duquel l’Ajax Amsterdam a battu le Maccabi Tel Aviv 5-0.
« La mission sera déployée à l’aide d’avions cargo et comprendra des équipes médicales et de sauvetage », a déclaré l’armée israélienne. À Istanbul, Galatasaray a dévoilé une grande banderole « Palestine libre » derrière un but lors de son match contre Tottenham Hotspur. La veille au soir, les supporters du PSG avaient fait de même, avec une banderole encore plus grande, pour leur match contre l’AC Milan à Paris.
